Quaint little restaurant in Leiden, but as friendly as the staff was, as slow was it - and while the food was good, it was not great. All in all an average experience!

Loved our evening here!  Service was very attentive, friendly and knowledgable.  Extensive G&amp;T menu with a great show upon service.  Vast offering of steaks with great explanations.  Definitely a place to visit and to return.

We were very impressed with the willingness of the waiter to cater for the eclectic taste of my friends so that everyone was able to get exactly what they wanted from the menu even in new combinations. This mirrors the traditional sphere in Greek restaurants where everything always seems possible

Very nice and helpful staff, good athmosphere and not too much noise, very nice food and also nicely served with good explanation, good location, would book again when staying in Leiden

Great food. The only problem was the long waiting time. 4 course menu took 3.5 hours without coffee at the end.

We had the Surakarta Rijstaffel for 2. We did not finish the meal as it was just too much food! The waitress packed our leftover without any extra charge. We also appreciated the hot water refill on our ginger tea! The foods are great, and quite authentic Javanese. It is a bit on the sweeter side, but that is just how Javanese Indonesian food is! During our stay they had to turn away a couple of groups simply because they were really full at 6pm! So definitely get a reservation before coming.

Delicious food, quick service which includes a smile and nice ambiance with good music choice. We had the burgers which came with a salad and really good fries. Surely coming back for more!

Grill restaurant with  excellent steak and particularly the skewers. More than enough meat and friendly and helpful staff. Nice ambiance, for me &lsquo;just right&rsquo;.

Er zijn veel restaurants zoals deze, steakhouse. Maar bij deze is de service goed en informeel. Het eten is zeker de moeite waard. Het vlees van zeer goede kwaliteit en heerlijk bereid, een echte aanrader.

There are many restaurants like this, steakhouse. But with this, the service is good and informal. Eating is certainly worth the effort. The meat of very good quality and wonderfully prepared, a real adviser.

Wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Hoewel dit een restaurant is met een focus op vlees, was er ook aandacht voor een gebalanceerde maaltijd. Friet erbij en een grote salade die veel verder ging dan de gebruikelijke konijnenvoer van andere eettentjes. Buik vullend en lekker. Golden oldies achtergrond muziek, niet te luid.

We were welcomed friendly and, although this is a restaurant focusing on meat, there was also attention to a balanced meal, with frites and a big salad that went far beyond the usual rabbit feed of other meals. Golden oldies background music, not too loud.
